As the saying goes, there's more than one way to skin a cat. Creating an RSS feed is no different.
There's the easy way and the hard way.
This page explains the easy way in depth, and also outlines what you need to do if you decide for some reason you'd like to go the hard way.

1. Download and Install the RSS feed folder program - once installed you never need to do this step again.
2. Add new webpages to your website in the designated RSS feed folder making sure each page includes a standard HTML <TITLE> tag and a description meta tag
3. Any time you want to modify the RSS feed just remove old pages from the folder, or add new pages to it. The rssFeedFolder program will make sure the feed is re-created automatically and accurately.
When you use rssFeedFolder there's nothing more to it - so these three steps are indeed in "depth"

1. Create the web pages on your site that you want to be in your feed
2. Create an XML file in the exact format that details each and every page you want to be in your feed making sure not to accidentally mis-type anything including the date and time each file was created/modified as XML is very unforgiving with even the tiniest typo. Click here for a good template to use as your starting point - you should be able to guess which bits to update - but make those changes carefully.
3. Any time you want to remove a page from the RSS feed, don't forget to painstakingly go in and very carefully modify your XML file to make it again accurately reflect the pages you want to be part of your feed. Again, don't make even the smallest typo, some of the RSS readers are incredibly fussy about XML compliance and what looks "close enough" to a human is not always close enough for a computer.
4. Just to be safe, as you wouldn't want to risk destroying the loyal following you've invested your time building, it is best to run the XML file through an RSS validator.
